A lot of her biggest problem is, she KNOWS what form a happy ending would take, but she keeps trying to leap to the end of it, never really trying to fill in the various points that come between where she is, and where she wants to be, so it causes all kinds of issues since there's no support for her at the conclusion. That and timescale is still wonky. We don't actually know how long a lot of events take to happen, between her being given Earth, finding out things, and even the war itself is kind of not given a lot of time to scale against, giving the viewer the impression it all happens really quickly, when in reality, it could have taken decades or centuries between each event. None of this justifies her actions, to be clear, but it does explain them.

Honestly I think they could make a sequel to Onward, like have it take place two years after the first film, Barley got his act together & has a job in a car repair shop & is taking online college classes training to become a mechanic, and Ian is getting close to graduating high school & worries about his future, but then some great evil from the past/a villain from Quest of Yore returns to take over the world, the brother's home gets attacked & now they go out on a new quest to find some magic macguffin that can stop this villain & save their home, along the way they make some new friends who join them on this adventure, and pull an Avengers where the party uses their individual skills & talents to stop the villain & save the day, after which Ian finally graduates & begins a new phase of his life based on what he learned from their recent adventure, I'd pay to see something like That in theaters.

this really does feel like the plot of the kids next door, kids only getting teen titans go while adults get all the good cartoons is very much inline with the usual missions the kids deal with

Emily, being the kind and altruistic angel she is, would likely gather a group of like-minded individuals to form an army dedicated to protecting the residents of Hell from any corruption coming from Heaven. It's fascinating to imagine her leading this group on such a noble mission.

Since most of us are old now they should have a show with stan and ford with lots of mature jokes and then there should be a season 3 going through what happened to the twins until then but season 4 should be where they reunite

Great video, dude!! Man, the Bismuth storyline breaks my heart (she's my fave). The cartoon really is a tragedy for as positive as its themes are. I love SU

You know I can almost picture it! It shows the Pines twins sitting around as they move house and they're going through some old boxes and Mable pulls out the grappling hook and it goes a little something like; (shuffling noises) (Mable gasps) Hey Dipper~ (Dipper sighs) Oh no...Mable what sort of mischief have you discovered in that box? (Mable smirks and whips out the hook and shoots it into the ceiling) GRAPPLING HOO-! (She falls to the ground before she can finish the line as her age and weight can no longer be held up by the hook) They laugh and start to reminisce about their adventures showing flash backs with ach item. But something is off, the memories aren't right, and the more the reminiece the worse it gets. Dipper starts to suspect this but Mable throws around her goofy quirky chaotic nature and they get distracted as they chase eachother through the house. You hear the parents call the kids for lunch but its faded and glitchy sounding as the camera zooms in on a box in the middle of the room it's dipper's box, and you hear this loud aweful humming drone that gets louder and louder the closer the camera gets. And then you hear a voice but it get cut short, cut to black and a few seconds pass followed by the infamous Bill Cipher psychotic laughter we all knew and loved! Cue theme song and new and/or remixed series intro and the voice of Alex Hirchse or whoever else giving us whatever cipher clue we would need just like old times! But when the community solves it the code says "We'll Meet Again". Cue internet freakout and scene! It may or may not wind up like this, it would be hype as hell if it did. But If all we get is some minisodes that work similar to SU Future then that'll be a nice simple show to just binge watch at night or something. But I do genuinely hope we get a big series similar to what Fiona & Cake are doing!

So, when Steven was a baby and Pearl almost took his gem out, the only thing stopping her from essentially killing him (as we find out would happen in the S5 Finale) was to keep Rose's secret. It means she didn't care at all for Steven at the time??? And it's also the reason why she got Connie to fight for him, because obviously he would die, but the secret would be exposed! Kind of makes Pearl a little more sinister, but she obviously does later then care about Steven

As someone who was trapped for 18 years not allowed to leave and see the world and only being hurt mentally and physically i feel like i understand her and her mentality
